RAM Trucks at Forest Lane CDJR in Dallas, Texas
Here at Forest Lane CDJR, we keep your RAM trucks healthy for all the trips and heavy jobs you need to continue doing. Like any other vehicle, RAM trucks need periodical maintenance to keep them running like new and making them run longer for miles to come. Normally, these trucks have a system that alerts you when an oil change is needed so you know it is time to visit us and we can take care of you and your truck to make sure you are driving safely.
If your truck is already letting you know that you need an oil change or service maintenance, please schedule an appointment with us or contact us so we can assist your vehicle as soon as possible before it is too late.

The system will learn from your habits and let you know when it is time for an oil change. It could be as soon as 4,000 miles but no later than 10,000 or 12 months (whichever comes first) depending on how long you drive your vehicle, weather conditions while driving, towing a trailer constantly, or other factors. Besides the oil and filter change, RAM recommends that we, at Forest Lane CDJR, should inspect the vehicle’s entire condition to make sure it is working perfectly and you can continue driving your vehicle safely.
Finally, your RAM truck will require an additional service in intervals of 10,000 miles for our technicians to check other vital and necessary parts of the vehicle like suspension components, and braking systems until 100,000 miles are reached which is when RAM recommends changing some parts entirely like the spark plugs, coolant, and transmission fluid.
